
RedHawks Sign Joe Harris

FARGO, N.D. - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have signed LHP Joe Harris. Harris joined the team today in Gary and will be in uniform tonight as the RedHawks open a three-game series against the RailCats at U.S. Steel Yard in Gary, IN.
Harris, 24, recently completed his college career at Wilmington University (DE). This year, Harris was 8-3 with a 1.54 ERA in 15 games (11 starts). He allowed 15 runs (14 earned) on just 55 hits in 81.2 innings pitched. Harris struck out 98 batters, walked just 18 and held opponents to a .188 batting average against him.
In his collegiate career, Harris was 19-11 with a 2.30 ERA. He was selected as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Pitcher of the Year the past two seasons and was selected a NCBWA Division II 3rd Team All-American in both 2009 and 2010.
With Harris' signing, the RedHawks roster sits at 21 players (11 pitchers, 10 position players).
