FARGO, N.D. - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (7-6) used a late rally to beat the Winnipeg Goldeyes (7-6) by a score of 8-6 on Wednesday night at Newman Outdoor Field in Fargo, ND.
The Goldeyes jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first four innings. The RedHawks rebounded to score three of their own in the fourth inning and tacked on another in the fifth inning on Nic Jackson's solo home run. The Goldeyes expanded their lead to 6-4 on a solo home run by Kody Kaiser.
Then, the RedHawks struck with a four-run seventh inning to gain their first lead of the game at 8-6. They got hits from Zach Penprase, Jackson, Carlo Cota, a two-run double by Phil Britton, and an RBI single by Jason James during the rally.
Nick Di Napoli pitched 2.1 innings in relief to earn the win, the first of his professional career. Di Napoli gave up one run on one hit, three walks, and had three strikeouts. Kevin Light was tagged with the loss after giving up three runs in only a third of an inning. Casey Hoorelbeke pitched two innings without giving up a run to seal the victory and get the save.

Phil Britton added two more RBI to his team-leading total (16), including the go-ahead runs. Jesse Hoorelbeke homered in his second straight game and now has seven RBI in the last three games.
