TONIGHT: A rain-marred series concludes tonight as the RedHawks and Nashville Sounds, rained out of doubleheader yesterday, will try to play two starting at 5:05 pm CDT at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark. So far this season, OKC has swept a doubleheader (June 16 vs. New Orleans) and been swept (May 17 vs. Fresno). Nashville opened the series with a 10-5 win on Monday and leads the season series 6-3. OKC is 1.5 games ahead of Albuquerque in the American South. Nashville is a 1 game back of Memphis in the American North. Tanner Scheppers will make his fifth Triple-A start and 13th appearance in Game 1, with Elizardo Ramirez starting the nightcap.

MONDAY'S LEFTOVERS: Nashville amassed 19 hits yesterday in a 10-5 win, the most hits allowed in a game by OKC this season. The Sounds are the only team to score double-digit runs against OKC this year, also plating 10 on June 18. The RedHawks were the last team in the PCL to allow a double-digit run total until a 10-4 loss in Nashville last month. Nashville's 2 homers last night (both by Joe Koshansky) matched the season high allowed by OKC in a game. The RedHawks are the only team in the league to have not allowed at least a 3-homer game, however they have surrendered 2 home runs in 3 of the last 5 contests including 2 straight. OKC drew 4 walks last night, which matched their total in the 3-game series at Albuquerque that ended on Saturday.

DAVIS TAKES LEAGUE LEAD: Chris Davis has the best batting average in the PCL among those with enough plate appearances to qualify. A 3-for-4 game on Monday raised Davis' average to .349. Davis is eighth in slugging percentage (.542) and 13th in on-base (.397), a notch below teammate Brandon Boggs' .399 OBP.

ERA TOPS IN LEAGUE: Despite a 5.44 ERA in the last 5 games, during which they have dropped 4 of 5, the RedHawks lead the PCL in team ERA at 3.66. Tacoma and Nashville are second at 3.87. OKC has allowed the fewest home runs in the league (46), 15 fewer than Tacoma. The RedHawks have allowed the second-fewest runs (345, behind Nashville's 344) and the fewest earned runs (294) while owning the best run differential in the league at +78.

PROVIDING MORE: Right fielder Mitch Moreland leads the PCL with 11 outfield assists. He also has an 18-game on-base streak. During the streak, which began with the second game of a doubleheader June 16, Moreland is batting .344 (22-for-64) with 3 homers and 13 RBIs, raising his average from .261 to .280.

RAPADA'S STREAK ENDS: Left-handed reliever Clay Rapada allowed his first run in more than a month on Monday, ending a scoreless streak at 13.2 innings. During the streak, Rapada allowed just 3 hits. He had not allowed a run since June 2 vs. Memphis. Rapada owns the second-lowest opponents batting average among PCL relievers at .178.
