Tonight's Game-- The RedHawks will try and salvage a split in their series in Nashville when they face the Sounds for the final time this season at 7:05 p.m.

Last Night-- Jay Gibbons homered and Travis Ishikawa provided a game-winning RBI double as the Sounds squeaked by the RedHawks 2-1. The RedHawks scored their only run in the first. With none on and two outs, the RedHawks strung three straight singles together, including an RBI knock by Fernando Martinez. The RedHawks had a runner in scoring position with none out in the third, fourth, and sixth innings, but could not score. The Sounds tied the game in the fourth on a solo homer by Gibbons, his second in as many nights. The game stayed 1-1 until the sixth when Ishikawa provided an RBI double to put the Sounds in the lead for good. Four Sounds relievers held the RedHawks scoreless over the final four frames. Two nights after taking a loss, Amuary Rivas (4-4) earned his fourth win of the season. Aneury Rodriguez took the loss, despite pitching well under tough circumstances. After starting pitcher Armando Galarraga left after the first inning with an unspecified injury, Rodriguez (2-7) went the next five. He allowed just two hits, but they both scored runs and proved the difference.

Tonight's Probable Pitchers-- Recently promoted from Double-A Corpus Christi, Brett Oberholtzer will start for the RedHawks...In 13 starts with the Hooks, Oberholtzer went 5-3 with a 4.21 ERA...He is having a terrific month, going 3-0 with a 1.40 ERA over four June starts...After an up-and-down start to the season, Oberholtzer has turned things around, allowing two earned runs or less in five of his last six starts as well as in six of his last eight...The lefty will make his second start for the RedHawks this season...On April 30, Oberholtzer made a spot start in Albuquerque, allowing four runs and seven hits over 5.1 innings...He retired 10 of the first 11 hitters he faced, but surrendered four runs and five hits over his final 1.1 frames...Nashville's Wily Peralta will look for back-to-back wins for the first time this season...Considered the top prospect in the Brewers system coming into this year, 2012 has been rough for the most part for Peralta...His ERA is a tad under six and his 43 walks are the most in the PCL...Peralta is coming off a win against Omaha Sunday, his first in nine starts...He allowed one run on eight hits over 5.2 innings...Peralta has faced the RedHawks twice this year, picking up the loss each time while allowing seven runs over 9.1 IP...He has allowed eight hits, but walked 10 RedHawks during that time.

Road Trip Finale-- Tonight marks the 11th and final game of the RedHawks' current road trip. Unfortunately, they are 4-6 through the first 10 games and will finish with a losing record regardless of what happens tonight. Although the pitching staff began this trip with a road ERA over six, they have posted a respectable 4.36 ERA so far.

Offensive Ebb and Flow-- In the RedHawks' four wins on their current road trip, they have scored 38 runs (9.5 rpg). In their six losses, they've scored just eight runs (1.3 rpg).

Close Calls-- Each of the six losses on the trip have come by three runs or less. Five have been by two runs or less, and three have been by just a single run.

Back and Forth-- Last night marked the first time in 12 games the RedHawks either won or lost on consecutive nights. The RedHawks have not lost three straight games since May 26-28 in Albuquerque.

Outhitting Oddity-- For just the fourth time this season, the RedHawks lost a game in which they outhit their opponent (27-4 record).

Where's Hawkeye?-- In each of the three games in Nashville, the RedHawks starting pitcher has had to leave early due to injury. Angel Sanchez is also day-to-day after taking a pitch off his helmet two nights ago.

Super Snyder-- With yesterday's 1-for-4 performance, Brad Snyder extended his current hitting streak to 18 games--the best by a RedHawk this season. During the streak he is hitting .388 (26x67) with two home runs and 10 RBIs. He is the only player in Triple-A with at least 10 homers and 10 stolen bases.

Waiting Until the Last Minute-- Although Snyder collected a single in his second at-bat last night, he has extended his hitting streak in his final at-bat six times in his last nine games.

Angel in the Infield-- Shortstop Angel Sanchez is hitting a team-best .400 with 12 RBIs in June. He has five three-hit games this month and has raised his season average from .256 to .299 since the calendar turned past May.

Nashville Sounding Off-- The Sounds have hit four home runs over the last three nights. They had hit a total of three homers in their first 12 games against the RedHawks this season. Only one of the Sounds' seven home runs off the RedHawks have come with a man on base (Brooks Conrad, April 18).

Against the Sounds-- Tonight will be the final meeting of 2012 between these two teams...Although the Sounds have won each of the last two nights, the RedHawks have won 12 of 15 throughout the season...All three losses have been by one run...The RedHawks have actually been outhit by the Sounds 115-113, but have outscored Nashville 65-38...OKC's pitching staff has posted a tremendous 2.50 ERA and has held the Sounds to two runs or less nine times.
