
Redbirds Playoff Tickets On Sale Saturday

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Memphis Redbirds have announced today that they will conduct an exclusive pre-sale of playoff tickets for the 2013 Pacific Coast League Conference Championship Series, presented by Strayer University.
Beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, fans can purchase tickets over the phone at (901) 721-6000 or in person at the AutoZone Park box office at the corner of Third and Union.
All ticket prices for the first round are priced at half off of the 2013 regular season gameday ticket price. If fans buy three tickets in any section, they will receive the fourth ticket for free, courtesy of Strayer University.
Redbirds season ticket holders who have renewed for 2014 season will receive playoff tickets at no cost.
A special ticket and buffet package with world famous Rendezvous Barbeque will be offered for $35, which will last for two hours on the Club Level and feature 16oz draft beers for $2 at the bar.
With 11 games to play, the Redbirds are currently in second place and trail the Omaha Storm Chasers by 2.0 games in the PCL American Northern Division. If the Redbirds clinch, AutoZone Park would potentially host Game Three on Friday, September 6. If necessary, Games Four & Five will be played at AutoZone Park to decide which team will advance to the PCL Championship.

Thursday, September 5 American North at American South
Friday, September 6 American South at American North
Saturday, September 7 American South at American North (if necessary)
Sunday, September 8 American South at American North (if necessary)
The Oklahoma City RedHawks (Triple-A Astros) currently lead the PCL American Southern Division by 6.0 games, and would potentially host Redbirds for the first two games from September 4-5 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
The PCL playoff format is a two-round system of best-three-out-of-five series. In the first round of the Conference Championship Playoffs, the winners of the each division will square off against each other. The conference winners then meet for the PCL Championship. Game times will be announced at a later time.
