Grill Honored With "Best Of" Awards

RENO, Nev. - The Arroyo Mexican Grill, located adjacent to Aces Ballpark, has been honored by the Reno News & Review "Best Of" 2013 awards, the Reno Aces announced today.

For the third-straight year, Arroyo claimed the title of Best Tequila Selection in Reno. The restaurant placed ahead of Feugo, Chapel Tavern and El Adobe Café for the top spot.

Arroyo's own Roberto H. Martinez took third place in the Best Chef in Reno category.

The Aces also won Best Of honors, placing first in Best Spectator Sport and Best Weeknight Activity (kids and family category), and ranking third in Best July 4 Fireworks, Best Non-casino Thing to do Downtown and Best Thing to do on a Friday.

Readers submitted votes online and by mail for the "Best Of" awards from June 7 through July 19. The feature, in its 19th year, aims to recognize the top people, places and things in all of Northern Nevada.

The Aces begin their final homestand of the 2013 campaign tonight, a five-game series against the Salt Lake Bees.
