
Redbirds Open Eight-Game Homestand on Tuesday

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Memphis Redbirds return to AutoZone Park on Tuesday, May 7 for an eight-game homestand against the Sacramento River Cats (Athletics) and Fresno Grizzlies (Giants). The promotion-packed homestand will be highlighted by four giveaways and a 2 Strikes, 2 outs, No Problem Fireworks Night celebrating St. Louis Cardinals post-season clutch hits.
Tuesday, May 7 vs. Sacramento River Cats at 7:02 p.m. (gates open at 6:00 p.m.)
- "Two"sday: Tuesdays are now "Two"-sdays at AutoZone Park featuring $2 hot dogs, sodas, and popcorn, 2-for-1 ticket specials at the Box Office, special in-game giveaways, and $2 off Budweiser draft products.
Wednesday, May 8 vs. Sacramento River Cats at 11:05 a.m. (gates open at 10:00 a.m.)
- Education Day: School kids and chaperones can receive special discounted tickets to this Thursday matinee game, presented by MLGW.
- Wet Your Whistle Wednesday: Every Wednesday, fans can receive a Field Box ticket, 16oz. Pabst Blue Ribbon, and a PBR koozie for only $10.
Thursday, May 9 vs. Sacramento River Cats at 7:05 p.m. (gates open at 6:00 p.m.)
- Subway Eat Fresh Thursday: Fans can receive a half-price ticket to any Redbirds Thursday regular season home game when presenting in a Subway restaurant receipt, and can also receiving a free sub coupon when exiting.
- Thursday Night Out: For $15, fans will receive a Field Box ticket, 16 oz. Michelob Ultra beer, and a Michelob Ultra koozie or opener. Available at Box Office and online.
- Gildan's Underwear Giveaway Night: The first 1,000 adult men through the turnstiles will receive a pair of men's underwear, presented by Gildan.
Friday, May 10 vs. Sacramento River Cats at 7:05 p.m. (gates open at 5:00 p.m.)
- Charlie Lea Chicks Hat Giveaway: Help the Redbirds celebrate the life of former Memphis Chick and longtime friend, Charlie Lea, with this memorial hat giveaway. The first 3,000 fans in the door will receive the cap, presented by Victory University.
- Friday Block Party: Every Friday, gates open early for a Block Party featuring 16oz. Coors Lights for $2 and live music from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
- Fred's Family Friday: Fans can save up to $30 on Dugout seats at all Friday Redbirds home games after spending $15 at fred's Super Dollar. Bring your fred's Super Dollar store receipt to the Redbirds box office & receive a $5 discount per ticket. (Limit 6 tickets per receipt)
Saturday, May 11 vs. Fresno Grizzlies at 6:05 p.m. (gates open at 5:00 p.m.)
- 2 Strikes, 2 Outs, No Problem: The Redbirds will pay tribute to the clutch hits of David Freese in the 2011 World Series, and Pete Kozma in the 2012 NLDS. A fireworks show will follow the game, presented by the Tennessee Education Lottery.
- Signature Saturday: Select Redbird players will sign autographs in the plaza from 5:00-5:30 p.m.
- Flyswatter Giveaway: The first 3,000 fans in attendance receive a free Flyswatter from Cook's Pest Control.
- Oral Cancer Awareness Night: Presented by Delta Dental of Tennessee.
Sunday, May 12 vs. Fresno Grizzlies at 1:35 p.m. (gates open at 12:30 p.m.)
- Mother's Day/Pink in the Park: Join the Redbirds in celebrating Mom with a day dedicated to breast cancer awareness, along with a special ticket and buffet offer, presented by DeVry University.
- Pink T-Shirt Giveaway: The first 1,000 Moms at AutoZone Park will receive a special pink "Mama Bird" t-shirt in honor of Mother's Day, presented by the Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University, the Mroz Baier Breast Cancer Center, and FM100.
- Kids Run the Bases: Kids 12 and under get to take the field after the game and run like the Redbirds, sponsored by TennDent and Shelby County Health Department.
Monday, May 13 vs. Fresno Grizzlies at 7:05 p.m. (gates open at 6:00 p.m.)
- EAT MOR CHIKIN Monday: Fans can receive $6 off the gameday ticket price at the box office when presenting a Chick-fil-A value meal receipt. Limit 4 tickets per transaction.
- Malibu Monday: On Mondays at AutoZone Park, fans can purchase a Field Box ticket and a Malibu can cocktail for only $19, or a Club Level ticket and a Malibu can cocktail for only $24.
Tuesday, May 14 vs. Fresno Grizzlies at 12:02 p.m. (gates open at 11:00 a.m.)
