Brian Flynn allowed just one run in his Zephyr Field debut, but it was enough for the Omaha Storm Chasers to take the series finale from the Z's on Thursday night, 1-0.

Making his second Triple-A start, Flynn scattered six hits in 6 2/3 innings, with the biggest one coming from David Lough in the sixth inning, a single to left to score Anthony Seratelli, who had singled to lead off the frame.

Flynn (0-2) kept the Storm Chasers off the board the rest of the night, but the Zephyrs could not muster any offense against Omaha starter Everett Teaford, who retired all 12 batters he faced.

Teaford made 55 pitches, 37 for strikes, and fanned four batters in his second start of the year. He gave way to former LSU Tiger Louis Coleman in the fifth, and Coleman kept the perfect game going into the sixth, when Paul Gran led off with a double over the head of center fielder Willy Taveras .

Jordan Brown moved Gran to third with a fly out to right, but Coleman got Kevin Mattison to pop out to short and struck out Gorkys Hernandez to end the threat.

The double by Gran was the only hit surrendered in three innings of relief by Coleman (1-1), who earned the win.

Gran doubled again with two out in the eighth against Blaine Boyer, a line drive that rolled past a slipping Seratelli in right field. Brown reached on a sharply-hit infield single to short, but Donnie Joseph came on to strike out Mattison, stranding the tying run at third.

Michael Mariot worked around a one-out walk to Ed Lucas in the ninth to preserve his fifth save of the season, and hand the Zephyrs their fifth shutout loss.

The Z's travel to Albuquerque to open a four-game series on Friday at 8:05 p.m. Right-hander Jacob Turner will get the call for New Orleans, against Isotopes righty Matt Palmer.
