Redbirds Kick off Homestand Tonight

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Memphis Redbirds return home to AutoZone Park tonight to open an eight-game homestand against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox (Triple-A Brewers) and division-rival New Orleans Zephyrs (Triple-A Marlins).

Monday, May 4 vs. Colorado Springs Sky Sox at 7:05 p.m. (gates open at 6:00 p.m.)

- Series Opener: The Redbirds return to AutoZone Park to battle the Sky Sox for the first time in 2015.

Tuesday, May 5 vs. Colorado Springs Sky Sox at 7:05 p.m. (gates open at 6:00 p.m.)

- Pancho's Cinco de Mayo Koozie Giveaway: Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in style with the Redbirds. The first 2,000 fans to enter the AutoZone Park gates will receive a Redbirds drink koozie, courtesy of Pancho's Cheese Dip.

- King Cotton $1 Hot Dogs: Every Tuesday home game, fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs at AutoZone Park, courtesy of King Cotton.

Wednesday, May 6 vs. Colorado Springs Sky Sox at 7:05 p.m. (gates open at 6:00 p.m.)

- Burger King Whopper Promotion: Upon exiting the game, Redbirds fans in attendance will receive a coupon for a free Whopper when they purchase a medium French Fries and drink, courtesy of Burger King.

Thursday, May 7 vs. Colorado Springs Sky Sox at 7:05 p.m. (gates open at 6:00 p.m.)

- The Redbirds and Sky Sox conclude a four-game series on Thursday evening at AutoZone Park.

Friday, May 8 vs. New Orleans Zephyrs at 7:05 p.m. (gates open at 5:00 p.m.)

- Irish Heritage Night and Silky O'Sullivan's T-Shirt Giveaway: Deck yourself out in green and head to AutoZone Park for Irish Heritage Night, where there will be Irish music and plenty of fun. The first 2,000 fans will receive a limited edition Redbirds t-shirt, presented by Silky O'Sullivan's. Fans will also have the opportunity to pose and take photos with Silky's famous throne and crown.

- Block Party: Every Friday come out to AutoZone Park and enjoy not only a great baseball game but also our amazing Block Parties. Gates open at 5:00 p.m., two hours before the first pitch for a special end-of-the-week Block Party, featuring Silky's famous Dueling Pianos and select $2 (green) drafts.

Saturday, May 9 vs. New Orleans Zephyrs at 6:05 p.m. (gates open at 5:00 p.m.)

- Postgame Fireworks: After every Saturday home game at AutoZone Park, fans can enjoy the Redbirds' spectacular fireworks extravaganza.

Sunday, May 10 vs. New Orleans Zephyrs at 1:35 p.m. (gates open at 12:30 p.m.)

- Gildan Mother's Day Massages and Manicures: Show your appreciation for Mom by treating her to an afternoon of Redbirds fun. Make sure to bring her by the mini-massage and manicure station, courtesy of Gildan. While Mom is pampered, youngsters can design their very own Gildan t-shirts - a perfect Mother's Day gift.

- Prairie Farms Ice Cream Sunday: The first 2,500 kids ages 12 and under will receive a free ice cream treat, courtesy of Prairie Farms Dairy

- Mother's Day Brunch: Help the Redbirds celebrate Mom! Purchase a special Mother's Day themed ticket and receive access to an exclusive all-you-can eat buffet from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. on the Home Plate Club Level. Ticket packages begin at $40, while existing club level ticket holders can upgrade on gameday.

- Share A Coke Kiosk: Coca-Cola will set up a special kiosk in the AutoZone Park Plaza allowing Redbirds fans to personalize a Coke can with their name. #ShareACoke

- Kids Run the Bases: Kids ages 12 and under get to take the field after the game and run like the Redbirds.

Monday, May 11 vs. New Orleans Zephyrs at 11:05 a.m. (gates open at 10:00 a.m.)

- Education Day - The Science of Baseball: Watching baseball can be an educational experience, as thousands of local kids from the Mid-South will be in attendance during Monday's matinee, presented by Christian Brothers University.

Following the homestand, Memphis will head to Colorado Springs for a quick four-game set with the Sky Sox before returning home on Saturday, May 16 to open a five-game, four-day series with the Omaha Storm Chasers (Triple-A Royals).
