New Orleans Baby Cakes News Release

Oklahoma City, OK - The Dodgers scored four first inning runs and cruised to a 5-1 win over the Zephyrs on Monday night at Bricktown Ballpark. The bizarre first inning started with four consecutive hit batters. New Orleans starter Pat Misch set a new Pacific Coast League record with five hit batters in the game.

Misch hit four consecutive batters and then Cory Seager drilled a two run single to give the Dodgers a 3-0 lead. OKC added a run in the first and used four pitchers to quiet the Zephyrs offense. The Z's out-hit Oklahoma City 10-5 in the game but three double-plays assisted the Dodgers pitching staff.

Juan Gonzalez worked two innings for the win and Misch allowed five runs on five hits for the loss.

Juan Diaz had three hits to lead the Zephyrs offensive attack.

Oklahoma City improved its league best record to 19-6 and the Zephyrs three game win streak was snapped as the Z's are now 11-12.
