
Red Bulls Waive Defender Kevin Goldthwaite

SECAUCUS, NJ (Aug. 6, 2010) - Red Bull New York announced today that it has waived defender Kevin Goldthwaite.
Goldthwaite, who was acquired from Toronto FC in exchange for defender Todd Dunivant on June 27, 2007, has not featured in a game for New York this season due to injury. During his time with New York, Goldthwaite appeared in 54 regular season matches, scoring two goals and two assists.
New York is next in action on Sunday, August 8, when it travels to Chicago to take on the Fire at TOYOTA Park at 9:00 PM ET (TV: ESPN2, ESPN Deportes; Radio: WQBU 92.7 FM).
