
Red Bulls to Open MLS Cup Playoffs Campaign on the Road November 3

HARRISON, NJ (October 28, 2013) - The 2013 MLS Supporters' Shield-winning New York Red Bulls will start their postseason quest for the MLS Cup on the road on Sunday, Nov. 3 at 3:30 PM ET in the first leg of its Eastern Conference Semifinals Series. The match will be nationally televised live on NBC. New York, the top seed in the Eastern Conference with home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, will face the winner of Thursday's Knockout Round match between the Houston Dynamo and Montreal Impact at 8:30 PM ET.
The date of New York's home leg in the two-game aggregate goal semifinals series is still to be determined. Tickets for that match are available and on sale now by calling 1.877.RBSOCCER or logging onto tickets.newyorkredbulls.com.
Led by first-year head coach Mike Petke, the Red Bulls earned their first-ever Supporters' Shield following a comprehensive 5-2 win over the Chicago Fire in front of a sold out crowd of 25,219 at Red Bull Arena last Sunday night.
