Rays Face Charlotte Tonight

South Carolina Stingrays News Release


North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays face the Charlotte Checkers tonight at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum.

It's Service Industry Night with $5 tickets at the box office for any employee of the golf, hospitality, or food and beverage industries with a valid pay stub. Also, all students with a college ID can purchase $5 tickets at the box office as well.

Don't forget at every home game, the Stingrays have $2 Bud Light 12-ounce draughts until the end of the first period.

South Carolina held a 2-0 lead at the first intermission before the Florida Everblades stormed back to score five unanswered goals and down the Stingrays 5-2 last Saturday at the North Charleston Coliseum. The Checkers, meanwhile, blanked the Augusta Lynx 5-0 last Friday at home. Former Columbia Inferno goaltender Jeff Jakaitis improved to 4-0 on the year, stopping all 22 shots he faced for the shutout.
