Kevin Schaeffer Returned To Reading

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that defenseman Kevin Schaeffer has been returned to the Royals from the Binghamton Senators of the AHL. Schaeffer, who was signed to an ECHL contract with Reading in the off-season and was with the Royals for a part of training camp, has been with Binghamton since October 8. He played to a plus-2 in three games with the Senators.

The Royals play a pair in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, against the Chiefs this weekend: Friday, November 7 @ 7:00 pm and Saturday, November 8 @ 7:00 pm. The Royals then return home to the Sovereign Center on Sunday (November 9; 5:05 pm) for Military Appreciation Night. This weekend's games will be broadcast live on the Royals' Radio Network presented by Transmissions by Arbogast (WRAW 1340 am in Reading; and WLAN 1390 am in Lancaster).
