Calgary, Alta. - The Western Hockey League announced today the B.C. Division Second All-Star Team for the 2023-24 WHL season.

WHL Division All-Stars are voted upon by WHL General Managers.

Goaltender - Joshua Ravensbergen (North Vancouver, B.C.) - Prince George Cougars

Defence - Caden Price (Saskatoon, Sask.) - Kelowna Rockets

Defence - Viliam Kmec (Kosice, Slovakia) - Prince George Cougars

Forward - Terik Parascak (Lethbridge, Alta.) - Prince George Cougars

Forward - Andrew Cristall (Burnaby, B.C.) - Kelowna Rockets

Forward - Jaden Lipinski (Scottsdale, Ariz.) - Vancouver Giants

WHL B.C. Division Second All-Star Team Biographies

Goaltender - Joshua Ravensbergen (Prince George Cougars): The product of North Vancouver, B.C., exploded onto the scene as a rookie, recording six shutouts before the calendar flipped from 2023 to 2024. Unselected in the WHL Prospects Draft, Ravensbergen went 26-4-1-1 with a 2.46 goals-against average and .907 save percentage in 38 appearances this season. He was named Kal Tire WHL Rookie of the Week on December 4, 2023, and also earned back-to-back Giuseppe WHL Goaltender of the Week honours on October 30 and November 6, 2023. Ravensbergen, who turned 17 in November, is eligible for the 2025 NHL Draft.

Defence - Caden Price (Kelowna Rockets): In his third WHL season, Seattle Kraken prospect Caden Price enjoyed a career campaign, logging 55 points (13G-42A) in 62 games. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound product of Saskatoon helped the Rockets to a fifth-place finish in the WHL's B.C. Division. Selected by the Kraken in the third round (83rd overall) of the 2023 NHL Draft, Price has skated in 174 career WHL Regular Season games, recording 116 points (20G-96A). He was originally chosen by the Rockets in the second round (30th overall) of the 2020 WHL Prospects Draft.

Defence - Viliam Kmec (Prince George Cougars): The 20-year-old product of Kosice, Slovakia, secured a career season on the blue line in Prince George, notching 34 points (9G-25A) and an impressive plus-39 rating in 58 games. Originally selected by the Cougars in the second round (104th overall) of the 2021 CHL Import Draft, Kmec has been a mainstay on the Prince George blueline, appearing in 180 games and posting 80 points (18G-62A) since 2021-22.

Forward - Terik Parascak (Prince George Cougars): The 17-year-old product of Lethbridge, Alta., finished first in scoring among all WHL rookies, recording 105 points (43G-62A) in 68 games. Aside from leading WHL rookies, Parascak's 105 points were good enough for eighth among all WHL skaters. Listed 14th among North American skaters in NHL Central Scouting's mid-term rankings for the 2024 NHL Draft, Parascak was named Kal Tire WHL Rookie of the Week on an impressive five occasions this season, including most recently on March 11, 2024. He was also named Tempo WHL Player of the Week on March 18, 2024. The 5-foot-11, 179-pound Parascak was originally selected by the Cougars in the fourth round (76th overall) of the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.

Forward - Andrew Cristall (Kelowna Rockets): The 19-year-old prospect of the Washington Capitals recorded 111 points (40G-71A) to finish fifth in scoring among all WHL players. From November 3, 2023 through January 19, 2024, Cristall enjoyed a 23-game point streak, tallying 45 points (17G-28A) along the way. He was named Tempo WHL Player of the Week on two occasions (October 23 and March 11). By surpassing the 100-point plateau, the product of Burnaby, B.C., became the first Rocket to reach the century mark since Colin Long (2007-08). Selected by the Capitals in the second round (40th overall) of the 2023 NHL Draft, Cristall has recorded 280 points (109G-171A) in 191 career WHL Regular Season contests. The 5-foot-10, 175-pound right winger was originally selected by the Rockets in the first round (eighth overall) of the 2020 WHL Prospects Draft.

Forward - Jaden Lipinski (Vancouver Giants): The 19-year-old prospect of the Calgary Flames paced the Giants in 2023-24, finishing with 66 points (24G-42A) in 67 games to sit tied atop the Vancouver scoring charts with Ty Halaburda. Lipinski, a 6-foot-4, 205-pound product of Scottsdale, Ariz., served as a steady presence for the Giants in this his third WHL season. Unselected in the WHL Prospects Draft, Lipinski signed with the Giants in April 2021 and has appeared in 201 career WHL Regular Season games, registering 134 points (51G-83A). Lipinski was selected by the Flames in the fourth round (112th overall) of the 2023 NHL Draft.
