
Justin Kipkie Named to 2023-24 B.C. Division First All-Star Team

Victoria, BC - The Western Hockey League (WHL) announced today that Royals' defencemen Justin Kipkie has been named to the B.C. Division First All-Star Team. The 18-year-old from Calgary, Alberta, posted career highs in each offensive category, scoring 16 goals and adding 36 assists for 52 points in 67 games played.
Kipkie's 52 points during the 2023-24 season put him in a tie for the fourth-most by a Royals' defencemen in single-season scoring in team history. While leading the Royals from the blueline, Kipkie tallied the 14th most points by any blueliner in the WHL.
The impressive sophomore season for Kipkie comes after he was selected 160th overall in the fifth round of the 2023 NHL Entry Draft by the Arizona Coyotes.
Kipkie currently sits 25th All-Time in Royals scoring, with 85 points, and fifth All-Time in defencemen scoring.
