Rattlers to Host Yoga at the Ballpark on June 28
June 3, 2015 - Midwest League (MWL1)
Wisconsin Timber Rattlers News Release
GRAND CHUTE, WI - Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium will become the largest yoga studio in Wisconsin on Sunday, June 28 with Yoga at the Ballpark. The session is presented by the Timber Rattlers and Empower Yoga before the 1:05pm game against the Clinton LumberKings.
"We're excited to partner with Empower Yoga of Appleton to provide our fans a new experience with a yoga session at the ballpark," said Jerrad Radocay, Timber Rattlers Corporate Marketing Manager. "Yoga and flexibility training has become more mainstream in baseball, so our players are excited to be a part of the event as well."
The gates to the ballpark for the event open at 10:30am and the session will be held on the field from 10:45 until 11:45am.
"Empower Yoga is very excited to offer the first-ever yoga session with the Timber Rattlers," said Suzy Weyenberg. "We have had some of the players in our yoga classes at Empower so when we were asked about sponsoring the event we thought it was a perfect fit. Yoga is becoming more and more popular with athletes at all levels, as it can aid in injury prevention and recovery after games. If you have not tried yoga, now is the time to join us."
Fans wishing to participate in the event must reserve a spot for the session. The price of the session - $17 for box seat, $14 reserved bleacher seat - includes the class, a voucher from Subway, and a ticket to the game. Make sure to bring a towel or a yoga mat.
Children eight and older are welcome to participate in the session with a parent.
To reserve your spot in the session, please contact the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Box Office during regular business hours - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday or 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday. You may stop by the box office at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium in person or call (800) WI-TIMBER or (920) 733-4152.
