PHOENIX - The Arizona Rattlers added three more players to their 2008 roster today, inking DL C.J. AH YOU (6-4, 275, Oklahoma), OL GERMAYLE FRANKLIN (6-4, 317, Middle Tennessee State) and LB DERRICK WHITE (6-2, 245, Georgia), Coach Kevin Guy announced today.
Ah You, who was a 2007 7th round pick of the Buffalo Bills, was named 1st team All-Big 12 in 2006, his senior season at Oklahoma. He accumulated 41 tackles and four sacks that season.
"C.J. has a lot of speed and athletic ability," said Guy. "He has very quick hands and feet."
Franklin played right tackle for Middle Tennessee State in 2006 and earned recognition as All-SBC (Sun Belt Conference) for the second consecutive season. White, who was a member of the AIFA's Mississippi Mudcats in 2007, helped lead the team to the league's semi-final game, where they were edged by Lakeland.
