Brigade Releases 2008 Schedule

Kansas City Brigade News Release
The Kansas City Brigade has released the finalized 2008 schedule. Home games include a visit from the 2007 Arena Bowl Champion San Jose SaberCats, as well as Chicago, Colorado, Grand Rapids, Columbus, Orlando, Arizona and Tampa Bay. Columbus was also in the Arena Bowl. Head Coach Kevin Porter said, "We welcome the best to show we also are the best. There's a lot of great football so be seen here." The Brigade in only their second year were in the playoffs last season.
The season opener is a home game with Tampa Bay on Saturday, March 1st at 5:00 p.m. This year The Brigade will play their home games at The Sprint Center which will bring a great evening of family sports fun at America's premier arena venue.
The Brigade is also proud to announce that all games will be broadcast on America's largest all sports station - 810 WHB. The team has been negotiating television broadcasts and hopes to make an announcement soon.
Season tickets and group sales are currently available at www.kcbrigade.com, or by calling 913-383-8020. While season ticket sales have been strong, there still remain many prime seats available at the Sprint Center.
Free agent signings began on Monday, and Coach Porter, Executive Director Brad Likens and team co-owner Neil Smith have been working on signings thru the week. The team chose to depart with Raymond Philyaw and BJ Cohen, and using the cap room that was needed will announce a slate of exciting signings within the next couple of days.
