Raptors 905 News Release
Raptors 905, the NBA Development League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors, announced Saturday it has waived guard Ashton Smith.
Originally invited to training camp following Raptors 905's open try out September 19, Smith played in three preseason games, averaging 5.3 points, 4.3 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 25.0 minutes.
Raptors 905 plays its first regular season game when the club visits the Fort Wayne Mad Ants on Saturday, November 14 at 7:30 p.m. The club's home opener is set for Thursday, November 19 when it plays host to the Maine Red Claws at Hershey Centre at 7:30 p.m.
