Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids Kernels and Minnesota Twins announce that LHP Randy Rosario has been placed on the 7-day disabled list, retroactive to April 23rd. Brad Steil, Director of Minor League Operations for the Twins, announced the move.

Rosario goes on the DL with a left flexor mass strain. In three starts for the Kernels he has an 0-1 record and 5.40 ERA, allowing 15 hits and nine runs (seven earned) with four strikeouts and eight walks in 11.2 IP.

The Twins did not announce a corresponding move. With today's transaction, the Kernels roster is at 24 active players, one below the MWL maximum of 25, with four players currently on the DL.

The Kernels continue a seven game road trip tonight at 6:30 pm at Clinton. The Kernels return to Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Monday, April 28th and open a seven game home stand with games against Kane County and Peoria.
