DES MOINES, Iowa -- David Spina scored with 37 seconds remaining in overtime to help the San Antonio Rampage defeat the Iowa Stars 4-3 Tuesday night at the Wells Fargo Arena. His pair of goals helped the Rampage snap a three-game winless streak.

Spina scored the game's first goal 76 seconds into the opening period, and left wing Matt Murley followed with a power-play goal at the 5:20 mark in the second to give the Rampage a 2-0 lead.

Marty Sertich rallied Iowa back in the second period, assisting on the team's first goal at 8:17 and then scoring the equalizer at 13:07.

San Antonio's Olivier Latendresse, who joined the team over the weekend from their CHL affiliate Arizona Sundogs, tallied his first goal of the season 1:20 later to give the Rampage a 3-2 lead heading into the final frame.

Rampage netminder David LeNeveu, in his first start since Oct. 24, stopped Iowa's first 12 shots of the third period before Nathan Baumgartner scored with 24 seconds remaining in regulation. Baumgartner capitalized on a two-man advantage after Iowa pulled goalie Tobias Stephan, forcing the overtime.

Joel Perrault picked up his second point of the night as he made Iowa's Stephan to commit, leaving Spina open to score his third goal of the season. The win gives San Antonio (9-5-1-2; 21 points) sole possession of second place in the West Division and leaves them two points behind Chicago, whom the Rampage face Sunday.
