Moore heads to Hartford

New York, November 13, 2007 -- New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that forward Greg Moore has been reassigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Moore, 23, returns to Hartford having skated in 14 AHL games this season, registering seven goals and seven assists for 14 points, along with 11 penalty minutes and a plus-nine rating. At the time of his recall, Moore led the Wolf Pack in goals (seven), assists (seven), points (14), and plus/minus (plus-nine). The 6-1, 210 pound forward did not dress for the Rangers in two games following his recall from Hartford on November 5, 2007.

From today's practice, Marek Malik (bruised ribs/back) and Sean Avery did not skate, while Martin Straka (broken finger) and Ryan Callahan (knee sprain) skated on their own. The Blueshirts return to action tomorrow, November 14, when they will face off against the New Jersey Devils at the Prudential Center (7:00 PM). Prior to the game, the team's morning skate is scheduled for 11:30 AM at the Prudential Center.
