SAN ANTONIO (October 4, 2007) - The Phoenix Coyotes on Thursday recalled defenseman Ryan Caldwell on emergency conditions from the San Antonio Rampage - the Coyotes' top minor league affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Caldwell played two NHL games with the New York Islanders in 2005-06 and recorded two penalty minutes. Caldwell was selected by the Islanders in the 7th round (202nd overall) in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft.
