THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Tuesday, Mar. 20 vs. Grand Rapids Griffins AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.
The Rampage host the Grand Rapids Griffins on Tuesday in the first of two consecutive games between the clubs. The Griffins enter the week in 12th place in the Western Conference standings with a record of 28-24-6- 4 and 66 points.
Thursday, Mar. 22 vs. Grand Rapids Griffins
AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.
San Antonio and Grand Rapids square off at the AT&T Center again on Thursday to conclude their season series. The Rampage are 1-1-0-0 against the Griffins in 2011-12.
Saturday, Mar. 24 at Abbotsford Heat
Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre, 9:00 p.m.
The Rampage head to Abbotsford on Saturday for the first of back-to-back contests with the Heat. Abbotsford, which maintains a record of 33-25-3-4 and 73 points, currently sits in sixth place in the Western Conference.
Sunday, Mar. 25 at Abbotsford Heat
Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre, 3:00 p.m.
The Rampage finish their two-game set with the Heat on Sunday after- noon at the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre. San Antonio is 3-3 -0-0 versus Abbotsford this season.
SHOTS FROM THE POINT
THE ROAD AHEAD: The Rampage begin the week in 10th place in the Western Conference standings with 70 points, one point out of the eighth and final playoff spot. Of San Antonio's 13 remaining regular season games, eight are at home while five are away. In the stretch run the Rampage will play six con- tests against teams currently in playoff position and seven games against teams currently on the outside of the postseason picture.
SULLIVAN SETS FRANCHISE RECORD: San Antonio defenseman Sean Sullivan set the franchise record for most games played in a Rampage uniform (202) on Saturday against Rockford, surpassing Brett MacLean's record of 201 contests with the team.
DGM ON THE LEADERBOARD: Rampage goaltender Dov Grumet-Morris ranks fourth in the AHL in goals against average with a mark of 2.22, is fourth in save percentage at .925 percent, and is tied for fifth in shutouts with three.
ICE CHIPS: Michal Repik - Right Wing
San Antonio right wing Michal Repik scored his seventh goal in his last 12 games with a tally against the Abbotsford Heat on Friday. He has totaled 12 goals and 15 assists in 42 games this season and ranks fifth on the team in points per game at .643.
Repik, 23, was selected by the Florida Panthers in the 2nd round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. The Vlasim, Czech Republic native has recorded nine goals and 11 assists in 72 career NHL games and 64 goals and 110 assists in 230 career AHL games.
