San Antonio concludes their North Division road trip in Syracuse. The Crunch are in that mix with Lake Erie trying to track down Toronto for the fourth and final playoff spot. Saturday, Mar. 28 vs. Rockford @ AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.

The IceHogs have taken two straight from San Antonio at the AT&T Center, including a 3-2 shootout win on Feb. 28 and a 3-0 shutout on March 13.

SHOTS FROM THE POINT 08-09

THE BIG CUBANO: Al Montoya is playing like a first round draft pick notch- ing wins in three of his last four games. The 'Big Cubano' has been a wall in front of the net. Montoya has stopped 110 of 116 shots for a 0.948 save per- centage while giving up 1.5 goals per game in his last four outings. His per- formance earned him the nod from Phoenix today, his first call up of the sea- son.

LET IT RAIN: San Antonio's all-time assists leader David Spina ended his season long six-game points drought with two helpers in Sunday's 3-2 over- time win in Toronto. Spina, who leads the team in points and assists despite missing 17 straight games due to injury, had not gone more than two games all season without scoring a point. San Antonio is 18-4-2-2 when Spina regis- ters at least one point.

LET IT POUR: Joel Perrault is turning up the heat again. On Thursday, Per- rault sent the game into overtime with a third period goal before the Rampage went on to win in sudden death. On Sunday, Perrault tallied two goals includ- ing the game-winner in overtime while adding an assist. Like Spina, Perrault missed the franchise record 17-game winless streak due to injury. Since his return to the ice, the Rampage are 19-3-0-1 when Perrault registers at least one point.
