Moose sign Ehrhardt to ATO

The Manitoba Moose announced today they have signed defenseman Travis Ehrhardt to an amateur tryout contract.

Ehrhardt, 19, appeared in 68 games this past season with the Portland Winter Hawks of the Western Hockey League, where he scored 37 points (9-28-37) and recorded 109 penalty minutes. The Calgary, AB native was the Winter Hawks' team captain this past season and was named the winner of the Brian C. Shaw Award as the team's Most Valuable Player. In six seasons in the WHL, he appeared in 256 games with Portland and the Moose Jaw Warriors where he scored 119 points (20-99-119) and 311 penalty minutes.
