To tip-off the holiday season, Rampage right wing Rob Globke, defenseman Filip Novak and left wing Josh Olson will do their part in serving a free Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings to more than 25,000 local senior and underprivileged people in the San Antonio community on Thursday, November 25.

The players are teaming up to participate in San Antonio's biggest Thanksgiving Day tradition - the annual Raul Jimenez Thanksgiving Dinner. The players will spread the spirit of Thanksgiving by joining other volunteers in serving turkey and all the fixings to patrons at the holiday feast.

The Spurs and Rampage held the 12th annual "Lend a Helping Yam" canned yam drive during the week of November 11-16, where fans donated over 5,000 cans of yams that are being used at the dinner. This year, the Raul Jimenez Thanksgiving Dinner is celebrating its 25th anniversary of feeding San Antonio citizens. This year around 4,000 volunteers are expected to participate during the meal.
