Today's Game: Tonight's intra-divisional contest concludes the Rampage's five-game road stand, ending their second longest of the season (till February when the team vacates for the Stock Show & Rodeo)... San Antonio is on a four-game winless streak (0-2-0-2) heading into tonight's game and currently sit 4th in the West Division with a 6-7-2-2 record (15 pts.)... The Rampage are 2-5-1-2 on the road with their last road win coming on Oct. 30 at Grand Rapids.

Against Utah Grizzlies: Tonight's game concludes the club's first trip to the ‘E' Center for the 2004-05 season, while marking their third meeting (of 10) between the two clubs this season... The Rampage are 1-0-0-1 this season against Utah and are 12-6-1-0 all-time... Utah (2-10-0-1; 5 pts) snapped an eight-game home winless streak last night after a 2-1 shootout win against the Rampage... Utah is 2-8-0-0 in their last 10 games allowing a 4.00 average goals against per game.

Miscellaneous Notes:

OFFENSIVE DEFENSMAN: Rampage's defenseman Lukas Krajicek has been the only scoring component that has recorded a point in each of the team's wins this season. Krajicek has recorded 1-6-7 totals in the club's six wins. Fellow defenseman Jay Bouwmeester (2-3-5) and center Greg Jacina (3-3-6) trail with four games in which they recorded a point and the team has won.

FAMILIAR FACES: Rampage's Ryan Jardine, Eric Beaudoin and Serge Payer are former Grizzlies. All three played for Utah when the Florida Panthers were affiliated with the AHL club until San Antonio joined the league as an expansion club prior to the 2002-03 season.

BACK IT UP: The Rampage conclude their fourth back-to-back set tonight against Utah. So far this season, the team is 4-1-0-1 after three sets of back-to-back slates, which the club is scheduled for 16 total back-to-back sessions for the 2004-05 season. The Rampage went 9-13-2-0 last season in back-to-back contests.

TARGET PRACTICE: The Rampage have been out-shot in 14 of their 17 games (82.4%) this season (427-530). In those 14 games, the Rampage has given up at least 30 shots seven times (two of those are above 40); most coming from the 3rd period (118-184).

ONE-FIFTH DOWN: On Nov. 20 the Rampage completed one-fifth of the season (16 games) posting a 6-7-2-1 record (15 pts.), marking the club in the middle compared to the last two seasons. In the Inaugural Season, the Rampage began had a 3-6-5-1 record (12 pts.) and made the playoffs, while last year, the team compiled a 10-3-3-0 mark (23 pts.) and did not make the playoffs.

300 CLUB: Head Coach Steve Ludzik will be seeking his 300th career victory when the Rampage travel to Utah. Coach Ludzik has a 299-223-36-48-2 career coaching record.

ROOKIE ON A RAMPAGE: Center Greg Jacina ranks among the top in two rookie statistical categories. He ranks 4th in shooting percentage (.192), and T-13th in points (8).

THE WEST WING: Entering tonight's game, the Rampage will finish off the month of November (2 games) against a West Division opponent. The Rampage, who are currently 5-4-2-1 against their division rivals, are slated to play 56 contests against their division foes this season. In addition, San Antonio will face two Atlantic Division opponents (HFD, WOR) totaling four games, one East Division opponent (NOR) for four games and five North Division opponents (EDM, MTB, CLE, ROC, SYR) totaling 16 games. The Rampage, were 21-32-7-0 in 60 games against West Division opponents last season.

The Rampage extended their winless skid to four games dropping a 2-1 decision in an 11-round shootout. After a scoreless first period, Chris Nielsen scored his first goal of the season assisted by Ryan Jardine and Joel Kwiatkowski. Utah battled back in the third period at the 11:07 mark with a power play goal by Keith Ballard, his first professional goal. Rampage's Ryan Jardine scored two shootout attempts (4th, 9th rounds) and Paul Healey scored the other shootout attempt (6th). Taffe scored in the first, sixth and the deciding rounds to give Utah the game-winner as Kiel McLeod scored in the ninth round.
