Bruins fall to Philadelphia

The Providence Bruins and Philadelphia Phantoms wrapped up their home-and-home and season series on Wedneday night in Philadelphia, losing to the Phantoms, 4-1. The Bruins remain in fifth place in the Atlantic Division with their 7-7-2-2 record (18 points).

Bruin left wing Martin Sameulsson scored the team's lone goal late in the third period. Goaltender Andrew Allen, making his first start of the season, stopped 31 shots in taking the loss.

The Bruins return home to host the Norfolk Admirals on Friday, November 26 at 7:05 p.m. Friday's game will be the first of six this season to be televised live on COX Sports Television. Long-time Boston Bruins announcer Dave Shea will handle the play-by-play, while Boston Bruins legend and Hockey Hall of Fame member Gerry Cheevers will be the color analyst.
