Rampage report for duty

January 27, 2005 - American Hockey League (AHL)
San Antonio Rampage News Release

The San Antonio Rampage, Armadillo Homes and the Spurs Foundation are partnering to honor the men and women who serve our country by hosting their 2nd Annual Military Appreciation Night at the team's final home game before departing on a 12-game, 29-day road trip in nine different cities.

The Rampage, who will wear camouflage jerseys, are calling in reinforcements when the team plays their West Division rival Chicago Wolves. The event is expected to be one of the largest gathering of troops under one roof as the SBC Center turns into a sea of blue and green military uniforms.

The commemorative jerseys will be auctioned off after the game at the Express-News Headlines in the SBC Center. Proceeds from the auction will benefit San Antonio's military community, specifically the Fisher House, Lackland AFB Family Support Center, Army Community Service and the American Red Cross, to assist soldiers and their families with financial and emotional support.

WHEN: Friday, Jan. 28
