
Rampage Release Kinnunen from PTO

SAN ANTONIO (March 3, 2009) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Brad Treliving announced today that they have released defenseman Justin Kinnunen from his Professional Try-Out (PTO) signed on February 3.
Kinnunen tallied one assist in 10 games with the Rampage during his most recent stint through February. He signed a PTO with the Rampage January 17 playing in one game and was released on January 20.
Prior to joining the Rampage in the midst of their annual month-long rodeo road trip, Kinnunen played 38 games with the Texas Brahmas of the Central Hockey League (CHL) where he recorded 12 goals and 16 assists.
The 6-foot, 168-pound native of Negaunee, Michigan tallied two goals and seven assists through 14 games in the playoffs last year for Texas. During the 2007-08 regular season he posted 11 goals and 32 assists in 64 games.
