Rampage recall Jeremy Swanson from Texas

SAN ANTONIO – Dec. 4, 2004 – The San Antonio Rampage announced today that the club has recalled Jeremy Swanson from the Texas Wildcatters of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL). The Wildcatters are the ECHL affiliate of the Rampage.

Swanson, 20, has played in 18 games with Texas this season, registering three assists and 17 penalty minutes (PIM).

The Red Rock, Ontario native was a sixth-round pick, 169th overall, by the Florida Panthers in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. Currently in his first professional season, the 6-foot, 208-pound right wing Swanson spent training camp with the Rampage before being assigned to Texas prior to the start of the regular season. Swanson netted 22 goals and added 84 assists for 106 points in four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL)

The Rampage (8-8-2-2) host the Rochester Americans tonight at 7 p.m. (CST) and the Chicago Wolves on Sunday, Dec. 5 at 5 p.m. (CST).
