Today's Game: The San Antonio Rampage continue their six-game in eight-night stand with tonight's contest against the Rochester Americans... The Rampage, who play a 16-game month in December, also begin a five-game homestand tonight... The Rampage moved back up to .500 after last night's win at Houston and enter tonight's game sitting 5th in the West Division with an 8-8-2-2 record (20 pts.)... The Rampage are 4-3-1-0 at the SBC Center this season... December is one of two 16-game months (January is the other) for the Rampage, marking the highest monthly totals... Following tonight's game, the Rampage continue their homestand with a matinee game against the Chicago Wolves tomorrow at 5 p.m.

Against Rochester Americans: Tonight's game is the first and only meeting between the two clubs here at the SBC Center during the regular season... The Rampage will travel to Rochester to conclude the series against the Buffalo Sabres affiliate in February... Last season, the Rampage fell to Rochester both times in their two-game series... Rochester gave the Rampage their first loss of 2004 when they defeated them 4-3 on Jan. 2 last season... San Antonio's last home win came on Jan. 2, 2003 (5-4 in overtime) and the Rampage are 2-2-0-0 all-time versus Rochester... The Americans have a three-game winning streak entering tonight's game.

Miscellanous Notes:

NAIL BITERS: The Rampage are 5-2-2-2 in one-goal games after last night's 2-1 OTW at Houston. The Rampage scored the first goal of the game in one OTL (Oct. 24 vs Grand Rapids) and one SOL (Nov. 23 @ UTA).

THREE-N-THREE: The Rampage are scheduled to play six sets in which they will play three games in consecutive nights, continuing tonight.

OFFENSIVE DEFENSMAN: Rampage's defenseman Lukas Krajicek has been the only scoring component that has recorded a point in all but one of the team's wins this season. Krajicek has recorded 1-7-8 totals in the club's eight wins. Left wing Gregory Campbell (2-4-6) has logged a point in five of the seven games. Defenseman Jay Bouwmeester (3-3-6) and center Greg Jacina (3-3-6) trail with four games in which they recorded a point and the team has won.

TARGET PRACTICE: Last night, the Rampage allowed 43 shots from Houston, including 20 shots in the third period alone—both marked season highs. The Rampage have been out-shot in 15 of their 20 games (75.0%) this season (523-622). In those 15 games, the Rampage have given up at least 30 shots 10 times (three of those are above 40); most coming from the 3rd period (145-215).

QUARTER HORSES: Last night, the Rampage completed a quarter of the season (20 games) posting a 8-8-2-2 record and 20 points, marking the club in the middle compared to the last two seasons. In the Inaugural Season, the Rampage had a 6-7-5-2 mark (19 pts.) and made the playoffs, while last year, the team compiled an 11-6-3-0 record (25 pts.) and did not make the playoffs.
