San Antonio Rampage News Release

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio overcame three one-goal deficits and picked up a standings point for their fifth consecutive game as the Worcester Sharks capitalized on all three of their power-play opportunities and defeat the Rampage 5-4 in overtime Friday night at the AT&T Center.

The Rampage (8-3-1-2; 19 points) remain in first place in the West Division after Joey Tenute scored the game-tying goal with 5:10 remaining in regulation and force the extra session.

Tenute's seventh goal of the season matched Jon DiSalvatore's and Enver Lisin's equalizer goals for the Rampage, who outshot Worcester 41-28.

DiSalvatore and left wing Matt Murley each registered multiple-point nights as Murley assisted on Lisin's power-play goal and Tenute's marker.

After a scoreless opening period, defenseman Brendan Bell scored just 17 seconds into the second stanza, setting a season-record for fastest goal from start of period, to give the Rampage their only lead of the evening.

Tom Cavanagh's second power-play goal of the game, with 18 seconds left in the five-minute overtime, snapped Rampage netminder Josh Tordjman's perfect record to 6-1-0.
