Then on a power play, Mike Glumac picked up a Rockford turnover and beat Flaherty over the shoulder at 16:26. The Hogs reclaimed the lead before the break with the first of two Bryan Bickell goals on the night. After crashing the Peoria goal, Bickell knocked a rebound past Marek Schwarz at 19:24.

Both teams added goals in the second frame. The Rivermen tied it at 3-3 with Woywitka's second tally of the night at 3:26. Bickell countered, however, at 15:26, ripping his fourth marker of the season past Schwarz on a power play.
