
Rampage fall to Chicago

CHICAGO - The Rampage tallied three goals on 16 shots and the only power play goal of the night as the Rampage are overwhelmed by the Chicago Wolves 7-3 at Allstate Arena Wednesday night. Scott Stirling and Karl Goehring shared time guarding the net as the Rampage were outshot 29-16.
Chicago tallied the lone goal in the opening period and five more consecutive goals in the second period. Jeff Taffe registered the Rampage's first goal with help from Randall Gelech at the 12:51 mark in the second period.
Joel Perrault and Eric Chouinard helped Yanick Lehoux take advantage of Karl Stewart's hooking penalty for his 16th goal of the season tallying the game's only power play goal. Chicago tallied their seventh and final goal of the night at the 4:24 mark before Pascal Rheaume tallied one more for the Rampage. Rheaume's 13th goal of the season at the 7:18 mark in the closing period was assisted by Eric Chouinard and David Cornacchia.
The Rampage (21-45-2-4) return home to the AT&T Center to take on the Peoria Rivermen at 7 p.m. Friday night for Faith Night with dcTalk's Kevin Max performing live after the game.
