DES MOINES, IA - JT Brown scored the tying goal with 8.2 seconds left in regulation and Carson Soucy converted less than a minute into overtime, as the Iowa Wild (27-16-7) defeated the San Antonio Rampage (23-21-4) in overtime for the second time in as many nights with a 3-2 decision on Saturday at Wells Fargo Arena.

Jared Coreau took the loss despite making 29 saves in regulation. Sammy Blais and Klim Kostin both scored for the Rampage.

With time winding down in the third period and the Iowa net empty, Brennan Menell fired a shot from the point that hit his teammate Soucy in front of the net. The carom went right to a waiting Brown at the back post, who dunked in his first goal as a member of the Wild to tie the game.

Just 39 seconds into overtime, Soucy scored the game-winner with a one-timer from the right circle off of a feed from Mason Shaw, the rising shot beating Coreau over the left shoulder for Soucy's fifth goal of the season.

The Wild also defeated San Antonio in overtime on Friday night, a 5-4 final.

The Rampage opened the scoring on the power play at 15:59 of the first period when Blais fired a one-timer from the right circle past Iowa's Kaapo Kahkonen for his eighth goal of the season. Blais has goals in four consecutive games, and points in 12 of his last 13 (6-9-15).

With an assist on the play, Jordan Kyrou extended his points streak to seven straight games. Kyrou has two goals and eight points over that span.

Gerald Mayhew tied the score at 7:45 of the second period, driving the net to redirect a Brown feed over Coreau's shoulder for his 17th goal of the season.

Just 2:19 later, Kostin reestablished the Rampage lead with a right-wing wrist shot that beat Kahkonen for Kostin's sixth goal of the season. Jordan Schmaltz earned an assist on the play, his first point with the Rampage this year.

The Rampage are 2-4 in games decided in the 3-on-3 overtime this season. They are 0-4-2 in their last six road games.

With the overtime point, the Rampage moved within four points of the Central Division's final playoff spot, trailing Rockford, Milwaukee, and Texas.

The Rampage continue their road trip on Monday night against the Milwaukee Admirals at Panther Arena. Puck-drop is scheduled for 7 p.m., with the game available on the Ticket 760AM and on AHLTV.
