DES MOINES, IA - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced on Saturday that the Blues have recalled defenseman Chris Butler from the San Antonio Rampage.

Butler, 32, is in his second season with the Rampage and his second campaign as the team's captain. The St. Louis, Missouri native has two goals and 17 points in 37 games with the Rampage this season, recording five assists in his last six games before being recalled to the Blues. This season with St. Louis, Butler has recorded a goal and an assist in 12 games with a plus-4 rating.

Butler appeared in his 400th career NHL game on Dec. 11 when the Blues faced the Florida Panthers. In 406 NHL contests, the 11-year pro has totaled 14 goals and 86 points, along with 187 penalty minutes.

The Rampage face the Iowa Wild on Saturday night at Wells Fargo Arena, with puck-drop scheduled for 6 p.m. The game is available on the Ticket 760AM and on AHLTV.
