TONIGHT

The Stockton Heat look to shake out of a three-game skid with a rematch against the Colorado Eagles. The Heat got a strong start in Friday's game, jumping out to a 2-0 lead through 20 minutes, but could not hold off Colorado's comeback effort over the final 40 minutes in a 4-2 setback.

HIP HIP, DUBE

Dillon Dube got the scoring started on Friday with his first-period marker, pushing his scoring run to points in seven of the Heat's last eight games. In that span, Dube has four goals and four assists.

DEJA FOO

Spencer Foo pushed his hot streak to points in four of the last five games with his goal to close out a dominant first period of play, pushing Stockton's cushion to 2-0. Foo has three goals and an assist over his recent run.

SPECIAL TEAMS SEPARATION

The difference on Friday came on special teams, with Stockton going 0-for-6 on the power play and Colorado cashing in with two shorthanded goals (one into an empty net) and a power play goal. The Eagles have four SHGs in three games against Stockton in Loveland this season.

A FIRST FOR EVERYTHING

Friday's regulation loss marked the first time the Heat were unable to secure at least a point in a matchup with Colorado this season. Stockton entered the game 3-0-0-1 on the year against the newest members of the AHL. The Heat currently ride their first three-game pointless stretch of the season.

PLAYOFF PICTURE

Colorado was able to narrow their gap from fourth-place Tucson to a single point with Friday's win over Stockton. The Heat sit in sixth in the Pacific Division, trailing the Roadrunners by 10 points with three more games played than the Roadrunners. Stockton and Colorado will meet two more times next weekend at Stockton Arena.
