CLEVELAND - Mike Zigomanis scored his first goal since joining the San Antonio Rampage, but David Jones' second goal of the night gave the Lake Erie Monsters a 2-1 decision Friday night at Quicken Loans Arena.

Jones snagged a rebound with just under six minutes remaining and slid it through the pipes for his 14th goal of the season, dealing the Rampage their first regulation loss of the Rodeo Road Trip (4-1-1-0).

Zigomanis scored a one-timer with the Rampage on a two-man advantage, putting his team up, 1-0, at 16:20 of the first frame. Travis Roche and Enver Lisin assisted on the tally as they, along with Zigomanis, extended their point-streaks to two games apiece.

Zigomanis was loaned from the parent club, the Phoenix Coyotes, on Wednesday, and has collected three points (one goal, two assists) in his first two games with the Rampage.

Jones' first goal came with 1:19 left in the second frame, tying the game on Lake Erie's eighth power-play opportunity of the night. The marker stretched the rookie's point-streak to nine games (7-7-14). It also extended the franchise-record for games with a power-play goal to nine.

David LeNeveu made the team's second penalty shot stopper of the road trip, denying Brent Kelly with 3:11 remaining in the final period to keep it a one-goal game. Josh Tordjman stoned Steve Kelly of the Houston Aeros Jan. 25 in a 3-1 win for the Rampage at Toyota Center.

The game marked the first regulation loss for the Rampage when leading after the first period (14-0-1-1).

The Rampage will look to resume their winning ways at 6:30 p.m. Saturday night when they face off with the Syracuse Crunch at the Onondaga County War Memorial at Oncenter.
