Syracuse President and CEO Howard Dolgon Makes Friendly Super Bowl XLII Wager with Springfield

Syracuse, NY (February 1, 2008) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that Crunch President and CEO Howard Dolgon and Springfield Falcons President and General Manager Bruce Landon have entered into a friendly wager on the outcome of Super Bowl XLII between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots.

If the Giants win, Landon will provide the Crunch with a case of New England clam chowder. If the Patriots win, Dolgon must send the Falcons a bag of Central New York's famous salt potatoes.

The Crunch are offering a special ticket offer in support of the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII.

Any fan that attends the Crunch's Saturday, February 2 game wearing New York Giants clothing (including hats) will receive a $3 discount off any regularly priced ticket.

During the game, the Crunch will randomly select fans wearing New York Giants merchandise to compete in a contest to win an Eli Manning autographed authentic jersey that comes complete with a certificate of authenticity. In addition, blue footballs, compliments of Labor Ready, will be thrown into the stands throughout the game.

The Crunch's next game is Friday, February 1 as they travel to Albany to take on the Albany River Rats. The Crunch's next home game is Saturday, February 2 vs. San Antonio at the War Memorial at Oncenter at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473- 4444, stopping by the Oncenter Box Office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling TicketMaster at (315) 472-0700.
