
Admirals Team up with Stans to Collect Shoes February 10th

Milwaukee, WI - The Milwaukee Admirals will collect new and gently used shoes at their game against the Peoria Rivermen on Sunday, February 10th at 1:00 pm at the Bradley Center as part of Stan's Fit For Your Feet's "Share A Pair" shoe drive. The shoes will be collected and donated to several local shelters and Soles4Souls, a national non-profit group that provides free footwear to victims of disasters and those living in abject poverty.
Fans who bring in shoes for donation will receive a $10 gift certificate per pair donated to be used at any Stan's location during the month of February.
This is the second year that Stan's has sponsored the "Share A Pair" shoe drive and it will last though the month of February. In addition to the Admirals game, people can drop off their new or gently used shoes Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or Sundays from Noon to 5 p.m. at any of the "Share A Pair" collection bins at Stan's Brookfield store, in V. Richard's Plaza at17155 W. Bluemound Road, Stan's Glendale store across from Bay Shore Mall at 505 W. Silver Spring Drive and Stan's Greenfield store in the Layton Plaza at 7405 W. Layton Ave.
Last year's shoe drive gathered over 5,000 pairs which were all donated to Soles4Souls, a national not-for-profit group that provides free footwear to victims of disasters, people living in abject poverty and people in need of a fresh start.
