
Ramirez Joins Lugnuts

Lansing Lugnuts News Release
The Lansing Lugnuts, in conjuction with the Toronto Blue Jays, announced Friday that outfielder Welinton Ramirez has been received from Auburn (Short-A, New York-Penn League).
Ramirez, 22, was signed as a non-drafted free agent by the Blue Jays on August 22, 2003. In 56 games with the Doubledays, he batted .318 with 22 doubles, three home runs, 33 RBI, and 13 stolen bases.
