
Rain wins today; Rox and Capitales postponed

Brockton, MA (August 6, 2008) - The Brockton Rox and Quebec Capitales were rained out on Wednesday afternoon and are scheduled to play a doubleheader on Thursday, August 7th at Campanelli Stadium beginning at 5:05 PM.
The teams will play two, seven-inning games. The first game is scheduled to begin at 5:05 PM and the second game will begin approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of game one. RHP James Baker will pitch for Brockton in game one against Quebec RHP TJ Stanton. RHP John Kelly will start the second game against Capitales' RHP Karl Gelinas.
Thursday night is Bobblection 2008 at Campanelli Stadium. Fans will be able to cast votes for the next president of the United States by choosing a candidate's bobblehead. Other voting topics will include the designated hitter and the selection of home field advantage in the World Series.
