
Rain Victorious in Charleston's Opener at Bowling Green

Bowling Green, KY - Following a two and a half hour delay, Friday's scheduled game between the Charleston RiverDogs and the Bowling Green Hot Rods was postponed due to heavy rain at Bowling Green Ballpark.
The rainout will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, with two seven-inning games scheduled to start at 7:05p.m.
Scheduled to start Game 1 of the doubleheader for the RiverDogs will be southpaw Manny Banuelos (1-0, 3.18) while the Hot Rods counter with righty Shane Dyer (0-2, 4.40). Then in the nightcap Charleston will send right-hander Andrew Brackman (0-3, 4.06) to the mound while Bowling Green opposes with lefty Frank De Los Santos (1-2, 3.09).
