Rain Postpones Hot Rods, Cougars

Bowling Green Hot Rods News Release
Geneva, IL - Thursday's contest between the Bowling Green Hot Rods and Kane County Cougars has been postponed due to rain. Rain began to fall about ten minutes before the scheduled first pitch at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark and continued into the evening, drawing the postponement. The Hot Rods and Cougars will now close their three-game series with a doubleheader at XXX on Friday.
The doubleheader will consist of two seven-inning contests with a 30-minute intermission between games. Bowling Green is scheduled to send RHP Dylan Floro (2-0, 1.35) and RHP Reinaldo Lopez (1-0, 0.51) to the mound while Kane County will start RHP Tayler Scott (1-1, 4.05) and RHP Ian Dickson (1-1, 9.00) in the two games.
Prior to Friday's twin bill, Hot Rods broadcaster Chris Kleinhans-Schulz will host the Forever Communications Pregame Show.
