Lansing Lugnuts News Release


LANSING, Mich. - The Lansing Lugnuts, in conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, announced that pitchers Roberto Osuna and Griffin Murphy have been placed on the 7-day Disabled List, with Osuna's deactivation retroactive to May 1st and Murphy's backdated to April 30th. In a pair of corresponding moves, the Lugnuts received pitcher Justin Jackson from Extended Spring Training and reinstated pitcher Kramer Champlin from the 7-day Disabled List.

Jackson, 24, was drafted as a shortstop out of Asheville's T.C. Roberson High School in the 1st round, supplemental portion, in 2007, playing for the Lugnuts in 2008 and 2010. This is his first season as a pitcher.

The Lugnuts' roster comprises 25 active players with seven players on the Disabled List.
