Rain Forces 'Birds-'Jackets Postponement

SALISBURY, MD - Due to inclement weather across the Delmarva Peninsula, Friday night's Delmarva Shorebirds-Augusta GreenJackets game has been postponed.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday. First pitch for Game 1 is scheduled for 4:35 p.m. with gates opening at 4:00. Game 2 will follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. Both games will last seven innings.

The Shorebirds' scheduled starting pitchers are Drew Rom (0-0, 4.63) for Game 1 and Gray Fenter (1-1, 3.09) for Game 2. After Saturday's games there will be a Q105 Fireworks Show presented by Dr. Susan Vickers at Seaside Smiles. Pregame coverage on Fox Sports 960 AM and the MiLB First Pitch app begins at 4:20 with Will DeBoer on the call.
