
RailCats and Wingnuts Rain Out Will Be Made Up Tuesday

GARY, IN - Last night's rained out contest between the Gary SouthShore RailCats and the Wichita Wingnuts will be made up on Tuesday August 20 at U. S. Steel Yard, as part of a doubleheader beginning at 5:10 p.m.
The teams will play a pair of seven inning games for the second time in six days. It will be the third time this season that the RailCats and Wingnuts play a doubleheader after they played a scheduled day-night doubleheader on June 18 in Wichita.
Tuesday will be the fifth doubleheader the RailCats play this season, a franchise record. The previous record for doubleheaders in a season was three; which was set in 2004, tied in 2006 and 2009.
The RailCats begin a six-game homestand tonight at U. S. Steel Yard with a three-game series with the Sioux Falls Canaries. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m.
